Some quick thoughts for Daily Fantasy baseball this Sunday:
- Reds C Ryan Hanigan is only $2700 and has this slash line against lefties this year: .353/.441/.431 and he is facing Cubs call-up Brooks Raley who was rocked in San Diego last week.
- Orioles rookie SS Manny Machado is still only $2500. He was good for an RBI double and a run scored again last night. Today he gets to face leftie Bruce Chen.
- 1B Adam Dunn is 5 for 8 previously against Bartolo Colon.
- P Patrick Corbin walks too many at 3.18 BB/9IP, but he is getting 7.41K/9IP and he gets ground balls at a 47% clip. The problem is he is facing Wahington, and Detwiler is pitching just fine for them. But if you like long shots, Corbin is only $5500. Personally, I like spending the money on P Ben Sheets ($8000) against a struggling Mets offense.
- OF Michael Bourn ($ is 4 for 10 against Jonathan Niese, caught stealing once. Bourn went 3 for 5 last night.
