The Borgata’s more intimate show settings will be feature a range of entertainment this weekend.
On Friday, The John Oates Band will perform at The Music Box in the Borgata on Friday night. Best known for his music as part of Hall & Oates, the New York-born and Philly-raised musician will play one show at 9 p.m. in the intimate 700-seat venue. With album names like “The Mississippi Mile” and “Bluesville”, the John Oates Band represents a different style than the pop and soul sound of Hall & Oates. The Music Box then turns to comedy on Saturday night, as Tracy Morgan performs a hsow at 9 p.m. Tracy Morgan is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock. Tickets are $65 and $59.50.
Also at the Borgata on Saturday night, doors open at Mixx at 10 p.m. for SkyBlu, with a special guest appearance by Far East Movement. SkyBlu is better known for his role in the duo LMFAO. Far East Movement had a number one hit with “Like a G6” which celebrated the party lifestyle and helped popularize “slizzard” in the lexicon.
