Parx Casino and the Philadelphia Soul Arena Football League team announced deal that makes the Bensalem casino the team’s presenting sponsor for the 2013 and 2014 seasons, the Philadelphia Business Journal reported.
A logo that incorporates both the casino and the team will be featured on team items such as season tickets, posters, game day programs and pocket schedules and in public places for promotions.
An owner of the Chickie and Pete’s restaurant — which has several locations, and one in Parx — is a minority owner of the Philadelphia Arena football team, and the logo will be on the uniforms of restaurant wworkers.
The auditions for the team’s dance team, the Soulmates, will be held at 360 inside Parx Casino 7 p.m., Jan. 29.
The Soul won the Arena League’s American Conference last year.
