Parx Casino and Philly-area poker pro Matt Glantz announced on Wednesday an agreement for Glantz to be the Bensalem casino’s poker ambassador.
Glantz, who is from Lafayette Hill and a Temple University graduate, has won more than $4.1 million in live tournaments and is currently competing at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas where he’s made two final tables so far.
From Parx in a press release:
“Matt Glantz is a highly respected and skilled player in the poker world. His professional profile lends integrity to our flourishing poker brand,” said Tony Ricci, CEO. In addition to being the “face” of Parx poker, Glantz will be fully engaged in the planning and design of the poker room expansion plan underway.
From Glantz in the same press release:
“I am very proud to have reached this milestone in my poker career and honored to be partnering with Parx Casino. It will be my mission to support Parx in becoming the premiere poker room on the east coast. They have proven their commitment toward this goal since opening day, and I look forward to doing my part to make this vision a reality.”
