Gabriel Levin, an attorney from Wynnewood, won more than $12,000 in a Harrah’s Philadelphia WSOP Circuit tournament Monday night. Levin, 34, won Event No. 11, a $345 buy-in no-limit hold’em event. Levin beat David Clark, of Dallas, Texas, in heads-up play. Clark has enjoyed success on the Circuit this year and appears headed to the WSOP National Championship this summer for being among the top 66 points-earners on the Circuit this season.
In Event No. 9, Abe Faroni, a 22-year-old student at St. Joseph’s University, finished first and collected $27,353 in prize money. The event was a $1,080 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament that attracted 94 entries.
