Gamblers File Suit
Against Golden Nugget

August 20, 2012 -

Three gamblers are suing the Golden Nugget contending they are entitled to their share of about $1.5 million that 14 gamblers won during a game of mini-baccarat in which the cards were not properly shuffled, according to an article in the Press of Atlantic City. The Golden Nugget has argued that the gamblers wrongfully exploited the situation, according to news reports. The gamblers are all Asian and in the players’ suit, they contend they are being singled out because of their ethnicity, the article said. The Golden Nugget denies the accusation. State gaming regulators are looking into a situation, according to the paper.
