The Tropicana announced that its Boogie Nights nightclub will open Friday, May 4. Doors open at 9 p.m.
Boogie Nights is advertised as “the ultimate celebration of 70s and 80s nightlife and pop culture.”
The high-energy, campy vibe at Boogie Nights will feature sexy go-go performers, pop and lock dancers, hula hoopers, celebrity impersonators and characters such as Mr. Boogie, Roller Girl, The Boogie Beaver and The Streaker.
But the party technology will be all 21st century with over-the-top light and sound and resident DJs spinning a dance mix of beloved and iconic songs from the 70s and 80s.
Also in keeping with the more contemporary nightclub experience will be private booths and bottle service. Themed booths include the Super 70s, Totally Awesome 80s, Swingers Circle, Love Shack, Boogie Wonderland and Solid Gold. Booths can accommodate five to 30 people. Club staff is already taking booth, bottle service and party reservations. Visit boogienightsac.com for full details.
Boogie Nights will open at 8 p.m. every Friday and Saturday. KC & The Sunshine Band will drop by Boogie Nights to perform one song after the conclusion of their concert in the Tropicana Showroom on May 19.
