Bensalem’s Jamie Kerstetter made it to the second day of the Ladies’ Championship at the World Series of Poker on Saturday but she’s one of the short stacks with about 10,000 chips.
Kerstetter sit at 94th among the 117 players remaining. Interestingly, the two chip leaders are both from France, Gaelle Baumann with 77,300 and Lara Boutros with 76,600.
Northeast Philly’s Amanda Musumeci was eliminated on day one as was Philadelphia-area player Jennifer Shahade who, along with Kerstetter, is part of a group of women players known as the Grindettes.
Well-known players who were also ousted on the first day were Jennifer Tilly, Barbara Enright, Jennifer Leigh, Vanessa Rousso, Vanessa Selbst and, Maria Ho.
Making it to the second day were Erica Schoenberg, Leo Margets and defending champion Marsha Wolak.
