Wildcard: The WSOP’s
Really Exclusive Club

June 15, 2012 -

A comic strip about poker, created by John Wray and Jason Rosenkrantz, pokes fun at the World Series of Poker bracelet ceremonies where the winners are honored with a ceremony a la the Olympics. At those ceremonies, held almost daily at the Rio casino in Las Vegas where the WSOP is held, tournament victors get to show off their championship bracelets and are given the tribute of the playing of that winner’s national anthem. But considering the WSOP has 61 bracelet events over seven weeks, the bracelet ceremonies can get a little … well, you’ll see.
